South Beach Properties offers beachfront condos on Caye Caulker, a tropical island in the Caribbean, 23 miles off the coast of Belize. Your island getaway is accessible by water or air from Belize City, Placencia, Guatemala, Chetumal Mexico.
Can I rent a car?
Personal vehicles aren’t permitted on the island — transportation is by bicycle or golf cart only. We're happy to help arrange a rental for you. Due to our location, we recommend a golf cart for comfort and convenience. It’s a beautiful 12-minute ride to South Beach!
Do you have bicycles?
Yes, we rent them on a first-served basis for $10 USD per day.
Can I swim or snorkel in the ocean at your location?
Yes, you can swim or snorkel at your own risk. However, for your safety, we do not recommend going beyond the dock, as passing boats may not see you. Our oceanfront pool offers a safe and relaxing alternative, and there’s a beautiful dock for lounging and enjoying the view.

How do I get to Caye Caulker?
You can reach Caye Caulker by either water taxi or small aircraft. Two reliable water taxi companies — San Pedro Belize Express and Caribbean Sprinter — offer scenic 45-minute rides from the mainland. If you prefer to fly, Tropic Air and Maya Island Air provide quick, 10–15 minute flights. All options are dependable and offer a great start to your island adventure.

Do I need to schedule tours or rentals in advance?
Usually, there's no need to book ahead — we’re happy to help you arrange tours, rentals, and experiences once you arrive. However, we do recommend reserving golf carts at least a week in advance, as availability can be limited.
